Pour Over this 3-day/week Posting Schedule
We're starting a new series about posting. Your goal? To post 5 times per week, so every work day.
Can you just start posting that much tomorrow? Sure.
But will you?? No.
Instead, why don't we work up to it?
This series: The Consistency Blend: Brewing Up To Your 5-Day Posting Habit
Over the next three months, you'll go from posting 3 times/week to 5 times/week, adding one more post each month and getting comfortable with the structure and schedule.
There are 2 types of calendars I'll show you in this series: The Funnel Calendar and the Monthly Theme Framework Calendar.
This week we are starting with the Funnel Calendar 3 times/week with a predictable pattern.
Max, you'll need one, 90-minute sitting to get the videos/graphics/posts made and scheduled. And it gets faster the more practice you get).
Note: If you don't know what Canva is or how to use it, what B-roll is or how to make it, or how to use CapCut/Edits to edit video, or how to use AI to support your brainstorming and process, this is exactly the time to work with me for 3-5 sessions to learn them well. Schedule with me here for a coffee chat about it resolutesocial.com/connect Then, the private lessons are $60/hour billed at the time.
☕ Start with 3: The Funnel Calendar
Video is the best way to connect (but graphics + B-roll = easy variety).
The Funnel Calendar simplifies content: Awareness → FAQ/Education/Interest→ Conversion.
The 3x/week schedule:
Monday: Awareness (about you or your biz / relatable).
Wednesday: Interest (educational/ value / story).
Friday: Alternating call-to-action ☕ or engagement (polls, questions).
Tip: Batch-create for the week in 90 minutes with Canva (or Edits/CapCut) + AI → schedule → relax.
Try it for one month—get into a rhythm before adding more espresso shots (posts).
Consistency on social media isn’t built in a day—just like the perfect roast takes time to brew. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the idea of posting every single day, take a deep breath, grab your coffee, and let’s keep it simple.
Welcome to Week 1 of The Consistency Blend series, where we’re showing you how to build up to a 5-day posting schedule without the jitters.
This week, we’re starting with just 3 posts a week—enough to build momentum, not enough to burn you out.
☕ Why Start with 3?
Think of posting like caffeine intake: you don’t start with five espressos in one sitting. You start with a latte or two, find your rhythm, then build from there.
Posting 3 times a week gives you:
✅ A manageable routine
✅ Space to experiment with content styles
✅ The foundation for consistency
It's also the minimum the algorithm needs to know that your account is active so it can put your post in front of your followers.
☕ The Funnel Calendar: Your Recipe for Posting
Here’s the simple breakdown for Week 1:
Monday: Awareness ☀️
Share something that educates, inspires, or connects with your audience. Think tips, relatable truths, or a quick behind-the-scenes.Wednesday: Interest/Education 🌱
Offer value or tell a story. This is where you build relationships—share a client win, a personal lesson, or a piece of advice your audience can use today. You can also educate your audience about your own work, the desired outcomes from what you do, or your industry.Friday: CTA or Engagement 🎯
Alternate between inviting action (join your email list, check out a resource, book a call) and fun engagement (ask a question, create a poll, invite comments).
That’s it. Three days, three purposes. Simple, repeatable, effective.
☕ Batch It, Brew It, Schedule It
The secret to making this stress-free? Batch-create your posts.
Here’s how:
☕ Set aside 90 minutes once a week.
☕ Pick your topics (one for each day).
☕ Use Canva or templates to design quickly.
☕ Use Edits or CapCut to edit video.
☕ Schedule all three posts in your planner or directly in the platform.
Once it’s scheduled, you can sit back, sip your coffee, and know your socials are working in the background.
☕ It's Just 3 Shots
Try this 3-day rhythm for the next month. Just 12 posts total. You’ll be amazed how much more consistent and confident you feel by the end.
And don’t worry—next month, you'll add a 4th shot of espresso to your content calendar. I'll show you how next week.
Until then, remember: social media doesn’t have to be stressful. Sometimes, less really is more.
Perspective:
Following this schedule, if you looked at the whole month mapped out, you'd see that you have a total of 4 Awareness posts, 4 Interest/Educational posts, and alternating 2 Conversion-2 Engagement posts. You can plan out (on paper) as far ahead as you like! It's really underwhelming. Ha.
☕ What to say
Start your video, B-roll, or graphic post with hooks like these. Adapt them to your biz or your story.
The sequence in your spoken, face videos is Hook-Introduce self-Answer hook in no more than 90 seconds. In a B-roll post, if you do voiceover, you can do the same. Otherwise, just like a regular post, just hook and answer.
☕ Week 1
Mon (Awareness)
Hook: “Here’s the #1 mistake people make with [your industry/service].”
Angle: A dog trainer might talk about relying on punishment, an accountant about waiting too long to reconcile books, an event planner about skipping a backup plan.
Wed (FAQ/Edu)
Hook: “One of the most common questions I get is…”
Angle: Share a frequently asked question you always answer in your biz.
Fri (CTA)
Hook: “If this resonates, let’s talk.”
Angle: Invite them to book a call, sign up, or DM you.
☕ Week 2
Mon (Awareness)
Hook: “Most people don’t realize this about [your work].”
Angle: A construction company could talk about permits, an insurance agent about coverage gaps, a dog trainer about exercise needs.
Wed (FAQ/Edu)
Hook: “Here’s the simple way to think about [confusing topic].”
Angle: Break something complicated down into 3 steps or a quick analogy.
Fri (Engagement)
Hook: “What’s one thing you wish you knew sooner about [topic]?”
Angle: Invite people to comment—works across industries.
☕ Week 3
Mon (Awareness)
Hook: “Here’s what no one tells you about [your industry/service].”
Angle: Pull back the curtain—share an insider tip, misconception, or behind-the-scenes truth.
Wed (FAQ/Edu)
Hook: “You might be wondering, ‘Do I really need [thing you offer]?’ Here’s the answer…”
Angle: Speak directly to objections or hesitations.
Fri (CTA)
Hook: “Ready to stop stressing about [problem] and finally get [result]?”
Angle: Encourage them to take the next step—consult, call, freebie, or service.
☕ Week 4
Mon (Awareness)
Hook: “Here’s a quick truth: [Problem your audience faces] isn’t your fault—it’s the system.”
Angle: A dog trainer → “Your dog isn’t stubborn, they just need clarity.”
An accountant → “Your cash flow issues aren’t your fault—it’s the lack of a system.”
Construction → “Your remodel delays aren’t your fault—it’s the process most contractors ignore.”
Wed (FAQ/Education)
Hook: “The difference between [Option A] and [Option B] comes down to this…”
Angle: Insurance → liability vs. full coverage.
Event planner → DIY vs. professional.
Trainer → group classes vs. 1:1.
Fri (Engagement)
Hook: “Pop quiz: which one would you choose—A or B?”
Angle: Keep it light and visual—share two options and ask people to vote.
Example: An event planner could post two centerpiece designs, an accountant could post “save vs. spend,” a dog trainer could post “walk vs. play fetch.”
☕ Final Sip
✨ And there you go — a full month of posts, brewed strong:
4 x Awareness Mondays
4 x FAQ/Education Wednesdays
2 x CTA Fridays
2 x Engagement Fridays.”
☕ Maybe just one more cup
Here are some examples
☕ Awareness Post Example (Monday)
Hook: “Ever feel like your content is as watered down as gas station coffee?
Post: That’s because you’re posting without a system. When your content doesn’t have intention behind it, it’s like pouring hot water over a single sad bean—meh at best.
With the right framework, your posts go from bland to bold. Mondays are Awareness Days in my funnel calendar, which means you show people why what you do matters. Stir curiosity, share a problem, shine a light on a truth. That’s your espresso shot of authority.
☕ FAQ/Education Post Example (Wednesday)
Hook: “What’s the difference between a latte and a cappuccino? Or in your world… [FAQ/Industry question].”
Post: In social media, one of the biggest questions I get is: “What’s better—posting more often or posting consistently?”
Here’s the truth: consistency wins every time. Posting three days a week every week builds a stronger audience than posting daily for a week and ghosting for a month.
On your FAQ/Education days, you’re answering your audience’s top questions—just like clearing up the difference between espresso drinks, but for your industry.
☕ CTA Post Example (Friday Week 1)
Hook: “Ready to stop sipping on stress and finally enjoy your marketing blend?”
Post: If you’ve ever said, “I just need someone to help me with my social media,” I’m your barista. I can manage your social media for you—or show you how to do it yourself with a system that saves time and tastes good.
☕ Let’s chat over coffee and get your content brewing: [link/call to action].
☕ Engagement Post Example (Friday Week 2)
Hook: “Tell me—what’s in your cup today? Black coffee, latte, or something fancy?”
Post: Sometimes, the best way to connect is simply by starting a conversation. Engagement days are your chance to ask something light, fun, and human.
For me? I’m fully caffeinated with a caramel latte in hand. How about you? Drop your go-to coffee order below—I might just steal it for my next coffee run.
